The Mindful Kids Peace Summit is the first of its kind geared to tweens and teens to be shown in schools around the world as part of the curriculum. It is 5 days online. You can pick and choose which portions you want to watch. A schedule will come out around Sept 16th (one week prior to the summit) which tells educators the order of speakers, and topics, and times of each video, so they can choose who/what they want their students to watch. There are videos for teachers and videos for students and some shared videos.
The summit is now available for purchase for $99. And that’s for the whole school, not per student. Lots of bonus materials too!
Each video will stay up for 36 hours once it’s posted (because of different time zones around the world), and then it will be removed from the free live site and placed in the membership site.
Each of the 5 days teaches tweens and teens about different topics that focus on mental health and stopping the violence, such as communication, diversity, inclusion, kindness, anti bullying, mindfulness techniques to cope with emotions and stress, social emotional learning, interacting with others, positive psychology, how we can be making a difference in the world, and so much more. Educators will be provided with resources and materials (free for download) to continue discussions with their students after the summit if they choose.
